Godart Florida Real Estate Investments is a privately owned company headquartered in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Our experience in commercial real estate and our investment discipline applies to multiple asset classes. The Company invests in and/or represents Buyers in the purchase of performing and underperforming commercial real estate assets. The goal is to provide an above market rate of return over the holding period of a given asset

The Company has in depth experience and access to resources in the acquisition, value enhancement, ownership, and disposition of real estate. The company has the experience to structure direct investments and joint ventures with the understanding of the goals and objectives of the parties involved.

The Company’s activities include the identification of opportunities, the assembly of all relevant information necessary to make intelligent decisions, due diligence, structuring of the opportunity, and the completion of the acquisition.

F. Thomas Godart, Managing Director of the firm, has over 24 years of investment and development expertise in the South Florida community. In 1999, Godart Real Estate Group was sold to Equis Corporation, based in Chicago. Since then, he has been involved in numerous start-ups and most recently was a Director, Real Estate Assets, for PMA Sales Group, based in Boca Raton. Some of his most recent transactions included: the sale of Tivoli Isles, a Bank Atlantic asset, to K. Hovnanian Homes; the sale of Seasons at Tradition (a master planned community originally developed by Levitt & Sons) to Avatar Communities; and the sale of 7 acres of land at Abacoa (Jupiter, Florida) by Pulte Centex Homes to Hallmark Senior Living.
